🚇 Singapore Transportation Guide

1. How to get to the city

  • Changi Airport → City Center
    • Subway (MRT): Approximately 30-40 minutes to the city center.
    • Taxi/Grab : About 30 minutes, convenient but more expensive.

2. Urban transportation

  • Metro (MRT) : The most convenient, and can reach almost all attractions.
  • Bus : fills the gaps between the MRT and the destination.
  • EZ-Link Card/Singapore Tourist Card : Required for taking the MRT and buses.
  • Walking : The city attractions are concentrated, such as the Marina Bay area, which is the most convenient place to walk.

💡 My personal 3-day, 2-night itinerary suggestion

Day 1
Changi Airport → Chinatown (Hainanese Chicken Rice for lunch) → Buddha Tooth Relic Temple → Gardens by the Bay → Marina Bay Sands Hotel at night

Day 2
Little India (Kaya Toast Breakfast) → Arab Street (Haji Lane Colorful Streetscape) → Laksa Lunch → Merlion Park → Marina Bay Light Show

Day 3
Brunch (Bak Kut Teh) → Stroll around Clarke Quay → Eat Satay at Lau Pa Sat → Shop (Orchard Road) → Return to the airport
