👨🍳 Detailed cooking process
1️⃣ Marinade the meat (key)
-
Wash and pat dry the pork slices.
-
Mix all the ingredients of Sauce A (chili sauce, chili powder, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, rice wine, minced garlic, minced ginger, sesame oil, black pepper, etc.), pour in the pork and mix thoroughly, cover and refrigerate for 1 hour (at least 15-30 minutes for the flavor to absorb).
2️⃣ Prepare side dishes
-
Cut onions, bell peppers, radishes, etc. into shreds; slice the king oyster mushrooms; and cut green onions into sections.
-
You can arrange everything in advance, and the actual cooking time will be much faster.
3️⃣ Stir-frying process
-
Preheat the wok over high heat, add a little oil, and sauté half of the onion, radish, and mushroom until fragrant.
-
Add the marinated pork and stir-fry quickly over high heat, keeping it spread out and not crowding any of it.
-
After stir-frying until the color changes, add the remaining onions, green and red peppers, and scallion segments and stir-fry until cooked.
-
Use high heat throughout the process, stirring constantly, until the pork is crispy and the juices are dried up.
-
After tasting, you can add salt and sesame oil to enhance the flavor according to your preference.
4️⃣ Serve and enjoy
-
Serve and sprinkle with more sesame seeds.
-
You can put the insulated stone pot on the table and put some fried rice/white rice underneath to absorb the sauce. It's super evil.
-
Wrap meat in lettuce and add kimchi, seaweed/radish and other Korean side dishes. You won’t be able to stop eating!
-
You can upgrade the spicy taste by sprinkling chili rings on it.
💡 Editor's Tips
-
Choosing fattier pork will make it more fragrant and smoother and less dry; you can add a little oil to the leaner version.
-
The proportion of the marinade can be adjusted according to personal taste by adding spicy or honey to enhance the flavor.
-
Use high heat throughout the cooking process and use the energy from the wok to sauté the side dishes and meat for a more Korean feel.
-
You can also add bean sprouts and enoki mushrooms to stir-fry together to enhance the taste.
-
It is not recommended to bake it for too long, as it will lose its aroma.
📸 Editor's personal experience
-
I was afraid of spicy food when I first started cooking it, but I found that the sweet and spicy taste was just right for Hong Kong people!
-
Fried rice/fried noodles with pork slices are always popular~
-
You can even use the leftovers from the refrigerator to make a sandwich, which is super delicious!
🏥 Nutrition and Health Tips
